Write-ups (~200 words) and photos should be submitted digitally to info@sffma.org. Please use the email title '150th Yearbook Submission'. Please send photos as either .jpg or .png files, not embedded in a Word file or PDF.

SFFMA SAFER #4 GRANT UPDATE |

The SFFMA SAFER #4 Grant Committee has made several important updates to the reimbursement allowances and reimbursement process for SAFER #4.
Period of Performance: December 23, 2025 – December 22, 2029
We want to ensure all participating departments are aware of these changes and understand how they may impact future reimbursement requests.
Please stay tuned! We will be sharing more information about the updated reimbursement allowances and processes at upcoming District Meetings, as well as on the SFFMA website and SAFER Grant resources page.
We appreciate your continued participation and support of the SFFMA SAFER Grant program as we work to recruit and retain Volunteer Emergency Responders across Texas.

Texas volunteer firefighters now have insurance coverage through Provident. This policy includes a death benefit, impairment benefit, income protection and a first responder assistance program (FRAP).
