To Our Industrial Facility Members
Thank you for your continued membership in SFFMA!
Your 2024 Facility Membership enables your facility to submit a Yearly Training Summary (YTS) for that reporting. The major benefit for report submission is found in Texas Health & Safety Code 775.032, Certain Businesses Not Subject to Ad Valorem Tax or District Powers.

Additionally, Texas Health and Safety Code 773.004 establishes provisions to certify industrial emergency response vehicles, including fire apparatus and ambulances, allowing Texas industry to continue operation of specialized equipment to and from emergencies. Member facilities may request TIESB to provide a review and deposition for each Vehicle Registration submitted for recognition as an industrial emergency response vehicle meeting Emergency Vehicle Criteria.

You can find additional information regarding the board as well as information on facility training and vehicle registrations on our website.

In the past, Industrial members have not taken full advantage of the benefits that the State Firefighters’ and Fire Marshals’ Association (SFFMA) has to offer.
